Norman Westberg participated in one of the most mind altering, soul crushing, yet gorgeous and serene groups to emerge in the last 40 years. We know of so many bands that were influenced by Swans, so it was very humbling to hear what influenced Westberg and his approach to the music that he wanted to make during his multi decade participation in the group. A groundbreaking and unique guitarist, Westberg joined Swans after the release of their debut EP and the rest is well... History! It was an honor and privilege to speak to this legend as I've personally been a huge fan and admirer of his prolific body of work for some time now. It doesn't get any heavier than this. Enjoy!
